Tonight at the Shrine of St. Catherine of Siena, 411 East 68th Street in Manhattan, the son of St. Gianna Molla will be present for a special Mass, conference and reception for married couples struggling with infertility.
St. Gianna, who was diagnosed with a uterine tumor, followed through with a difficult and life-threatening pregnancy. She gave birth to the child – her fourth – but died seven days later. The event tonight includes a Mass and a talk by St. Gianna’s son, Pierluigi, as well as a blessing with relics of St. Gianna. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
Physicians from Gianna – The Catholic Healthcare Center for Women in Manhattan, will also be there to answer questions.
